The gallery opened its doors in 1992, with the name Galeria Telax, on Dr. Vilaseca avenue, in Reus, and ten years later, in 2002, it became the new Antoni Pinyol gallery, located in the same historic city centre. Once a year, the Telax award is announced in memory of the old gallery, aimed at promoting and encouraging young artists, offering them the opportunity to show their artistic creations in their first collective exhibition followed by an individual exhibition.
Today, the gallery holds around 10 exhibitions a year and participates regularly in local fairs such as the Mostra d’Art in Reus, national: Art Madrid, and international: FIA in Caracas and Arte Kholn in Colonia. In addition, the gallery collaborates internationally with the American galleries Petter Miller Gallery, in Chicago and Karpio + Fachini, in Costa Rica.
Exhibitions: promotion of Catalan, national and foreign contemporary art. From painting, sculpture, photography and new technologies.
